Produce Alliance LLC is expanding its foodservice video recipe library.
The Nashville, Tenn.-based buying group recently premiered the second video in its Ask The Chef video series.
The new video features products from the organization’s 2015 Conference title sponsor, Yuma, Ariz.-based GreenGate Fresh LLLP, a foodservice salad, slaw and leafy greens provider.
Episode two features celebrity and Produce Alliance corporate chef Stephanie Goldfarb who produces new recipes using GreenGate fresh produce, including slaw mix in an appetizer and other dishes.
“The Ask The Chef video series provides Produce Alliance members, distributors and partners an opportunity to collaborate on innovative menu ideas as well as review new items,” said Claire Stahlecker Beutel, national marketing coordinator.
Founded in 1996, Produce Alliance represents more than 50 independent fresh produce distributors by providing procurement and distribution services to foodservice clients throughout North America and the Caribbean with annual produce sales exceeding $4 billion, according to the company’s website.
